pregnancy lessons

So.. I went to the doctor today and found out that they will be inducing me tomorrow! I'm scared, excited, anxious, and much more. Maybe knowing when you will have the baby is worse than just having to deal with it when it happens so you don't have time to think about all of this stuff.
Anyway I was just thinking that I wanted to write some of the things I have learned from this pregnancy. Its suprising to look back at the things that have changed me or things I have experienced in this nine months. Some are good lessons and some I don't want to experience again. So here we go.... I'll keep it to 10 :)

10 things I learned from this pregnancy

1.People love to give advice. Its usually good advice but I have heard most of the same things at least twice
2. No pregancy is the same so listen to your body more than other people
3. True Love. You never know true love until you are sick and not your best self emotionally and still have a wonderful husband who sticks by you through it all
4. Yes....the first trimester is that bad (even though I didn't puke, I was sick and had THE WORST Iron taste in my mouth ever! I do know people have worse first trimesters than me and for that I really look up to those people)
5. I'm thankful I have a heavenly father to help me through this parenting thing
6. I'm thankful for earthly parents that stand by me and are there to listen to my complaints about pregnancy but also share my excitement
7. There is nothing cooler than feeling the baby move inside you. Its almost alien-like
8. Once you hit 38 weeks watch out. It is the most uncomfortable time of the pregnancy.
9. The internet has lots of cool information about everything dealing with pregnancy but if you have a problem you can pretty much verify it even if you don't have it by how you choose to "look it up".
10. You obviously forget how uncomfortable and long 9 months of pregnancy are after you deliver or most people probably wouldn't have more kids.

The biggest lesson of all is that I am blessed! I am blessed for the opportunity to have a child and to experience all of the crazy things with pregnancy. I know there are probably a million people out there better suited for this parenting thing and I am grateful to my heavenly father for choosing me to have the oportunity to raise this child!
